Show WILLIAM H. KENNINGTON DIES. Montpolier, Idaho, April 15, William Wil-liam II. Kennlngton, a prominent pioneer pio-neer of Afton, Wyo., passed away at his home there last week from paralysis. par-alysis. Mr. Kennlngton was a native na-tive of South Lincolnshire, England, and was 72 years of age. He came to America upon being converted to the Mormon church and crossed the plains with the second handcart company, com-pany, arriving In Salt Lake in 1S5C. He "later moved to Bear Lake county, Idaho, and then to his present home In Star valley. He was prominent in religious circles, having held the office of stake secretary for over 20 years. At one time he was Unitod States water commissioner and at his death was United States land commissioner com-missioner A widow and twelve children chil-dren survive him. Funeral services were largely attended. |
