Show JODN MARTIN. SR.. DIES IN WILSON John Martin. Sr . a pioneer of the state, died at the family home in Wilson Wil-son last evening at 11.40 o'clock, aft er a lingering illness of pneumonia Mr Martin was bom at Bath, Scot land. August 21, 18US, the son of Robert Rob-ert and Jeannette Stewart Martin. Ho came to LUah in 185L'. first residing in Salt lake City where he married Miss Sarah Ann Sargent in 1 S 5 . He was later married to Miss Margaret Hayes. Both have been dead several years. Mr Martin became a member nf the Church of Latter-day Saints when but 14 years of age and has been a Faith' ful member ever since. The following follow-ing children survive lohn Man Iii. Jr., Mrs Sarah E. Holmes, Mrs Rachael Baker. Mrs John Johnson of Wilson, Utah Mrs. Abraham Branson St. An thony Ida.; Mm. Charles t'a.ir Af-ton, Af-ton, Wyo.; Charles George and Joseph Jo-seph Martin, Mrs .lames Dugan, Mrs Brnest Buck of Menan, bin. : Mrs Charles Booth of Yost, Ida., also sixty-seven sixty-seven grandchildren and forty-nine great-grandchildren.
