Show DEATH OF IS. CLARAJALGREN Many citizens of this city will be paitwri tc learn of the sudden demise of Clara B. Halgren, ' which occurred at 11 a. m. Sunday at the home, rear of 622 Twenty-third street, of dropsy and asthma aged seventy years. Mrs Halgren was born at Kulma, Westmorland West-morland Sweden, April 11,1840, and was . the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bjurlong. The deceased becamo a member of the Latter Day Saints church in 1862, at Stockholm, Sweden, Swe-den, and was baptized by the late President N. C. Flygare. Four years later she emmlgrated to America and was wedded In mid-ocean to Mr. Halgren. Hal-gren. On their arrival in Utah Mr. and Mrs. Halgren made Ogden their permanent abode.: Mrs. Halgren was an unusually devoted mother to her children and made many sacrifices for the strict observance to her religious duties. Although aho has been falling in health for the past two years, her demise de-mise came very suddenly. Death having hav-ing ; overtaken her while sitting in a chair soon after partaking breakfast. The deceased is survived by the follow-ing children: Joseph Halgren, Mrs. Daniel Hamcr, Mrs. Parley T. Wright and Mrs. J. M. Parry, and also eight grandchildren, nil of whom reside re-side In C'den, with the exception of Mrs. Hanipr, who. resides in Poca-tello Poca-tello Mrs. Hamcr immediately start ed for Ogden arriving here last evening- |
