F Lee pioneer physician and fur tur d dealer of ot Summit county count died yesterday morning at the home homo of or his daughter Mrs T. T C C. Robinson following following follow follow- ing a stroke of or paral paralysis with which he was taken at 8 S o'clock Saturday evening Dr Lee was born in New e York state in 18 1822 He lIe first came to Utah in 1861 on a visit to his father Cather who was tho pioneer physician and surgeon of ot this state In 1862 he lie went to Michigan and in 1870 after completing his education education edu edu- cation caton he returned to Utah and taught school at Holliday In 1873 ho he moved with his family to Peon Peoa Summit count county where he practiced practiced medicine and also became coun county assessor and collector TIllS This necessitated ta ted a great deal of oC tra traveling b by saddie sad sad- die dle horse and brou brought ht him in contact with hunters and trappers who eager to sell th the furs tUl'S which then plentiful in that section of ot tho the countr country Dr Lee is survived by his wife and four tour daughters Mrs David of or Salt Lake Miss Hattie L Leo o of ot Salt Lake Mrs W.
