When he felt able he returned to the presidents s office kind ind nd during durin most of the day was wac in consultation with members of the Cannon family and the apostles as to the funeral arrangements Several times during the after afternoon afternoon noon no n President Snow now was forced forc to tC leave the office for rest and last evening I he was completely prostrated It was learned at the Bee Hive house that President Snow has not been in good health h Ith since the conference In that time he has taken scarcely any nourishment and his family shows considerable anxiety over his condition The president is subject to no chronic trouble of any description description description tion but his feebleness is supposed to be due to mental exertion which has destroyed destro ed his appetite It is hoped he will be up and around today I though that is doubtful I had charge of the eastern mission dur during during ing the years ears 1859 and 1860 and was also the emigration agent for the church In that territory during that time While on this mission in October 1869 he was chosen an apostle to fill fiU the vacancy made by the death deeth of Par Parley Parley ley Icy P
