Show MARK F. LEE DIES IN lit, UTI Veteran Dentist Was Assessor in Summit County for Many Years. Special to The Tribune. WANSHIP, Utah. July 20. Mark F. Lee, well known as a physician and dentist den-tist and former county assessor of Summit Sum-mit county, died at his home here this morning, aged 01 years. lie was ;l familiar fa-miliar figure in tho hide buying houses of Salt I-akc, where he went as county assessor to sell hides collected for taxes. Mr. Lee was born In New Tork on December De-cember 3. 1S22. In 183S he moved with his parents to Bronson, Mich. Earlv in life he became known there as a dentist of tho "old school." who used tho forceps for-ceps when there was a toothache. Ho also acquired a considerable knowledge of medicine and practiced both in an old-fashioned old-fashioned way up to the last years of his life. He came to Utah with his parents in ISfil. returning oast a year later as a driver for an overland party. Ho came back in 1S70, teaching 3chool in Holllday for a year. Ho moved to Peora in Summit Sum-mit county, where he became assessor. In that day his duties were both those of the assessor and collector. He would go out on horseback, make assessments and frequently take payment In hides. He would then go to Salt Lake and exchange ex-change the hides for cash to pav th county. Mr, Lee came to "Wanshlp In 1S73 and lived here until ho died. Ho loaves a wife and six daughters. Mrs. David Ek-leson Ek-leson of Fort Duchesne Miss Hattle Leo of Salt Lako. Mrs. W.
