E and Sarah Evans Jeremy She Sho came to Utah with the first foreign emigrant train in 1849 with her parents Three of her sisters died on the journey across the plains As AJ a teacher of the Salt Lake stake Relief society for tor more than 50 years Mrs Davis was widely known for her church work She also was a charter member of ot the Daughters Daughter of at Utah Pioneers Her husband Captain D. D L. L Davis was waa one of the first navigators of Great Salt lake and was vice president of the tho Cambrian society Mrs Davis is survived by three daughters Mrs J. J Emerson Young St. St G George orge Mrs E. E W. W Stephens Burlingame CaL and Miss M s Hazel Davis Salt Lake City Eight other children are dead Also surviving Is a sister Mrs Harvey Hardy Los Angeles three grandchildren and the following half-brothers half and sisters David B. B Jeremy Salt Lake City Mrs Eliza Ellza J. J Hardy and Mrs Culbert 1 L. L Olson Los Angeles Mrs W. W D. D Pinney Mrs Karl H Hardy Mrs J. J W.
