L Parry Parly 88 years year old oldon oldon oldon on August 25 died Sunday morning morn morning morn morn- ing at nt 11 o'clock o'clock- Mr Parry was born in St. St George Wales Vales Aug 25 1818 He became a convert to the Mormon faith later in life I and came to Utah by y ox team I route in 1853 landing in Salt Lake Lako C y By trade the deceased I I ed was waa a mason and was engaged first to work ou t the tho e Salt Lake temple helping to put iq in the large box together with other work necessary at t that time In 1862 the month of June he was called calle to go sto to tu St. St George to assist in building the temple thereas there as well as a number of other othar h buildings s such buch as the taber tabernacle acle courthouse and St. St George eorge hall In the spring p ing of 1877 he came came to Manti where he was appointed master mason of the Manti temple spending spendin many lUany years in its erection creation Mr Parry Pairy was the senior member member mem member mem- mem ber of Parry and Son Sons masons and monumental stonecutters which firm is known throughput throughout tho the state for the excellent quality of rock f throughout this and other states 0 He was first married in his na native native na-I na tive land fand and in 1857 was married again in Salt Lake Three sons and two wo daughters are residents of Manti Two daughters in 10 Emery county Mrs W Warren S S.
