Show are being marie for a lively time July 24th. Since our last news entry, j there have been two weddings. The couples were, Edward Dob-son Dob-son and Lula Wood, Ben Cros-land Cros-land and Ida Stevens. Mr. and Mrs Dodson were given a shower at Mrs. Dobson's parents' home and Mr. and Mrs. Crosland were given the same at Mrs. Sarah Johnson's home where 54 guests spent a pleasant evening. We wish the young people success and happiness in their venture. Vorda Mckee's confectionary store is nearing completion. During the electric storm Friday, Fri-day, Mrs. Sarah Stephenson and daughter, Clarissa, were struck with lightening and stunned. Mrs. Stephenson was left deaf after the shock. The Death of Nettie Johnson, which occured July 1st., casta gloom over our community. She had been very ill for a long time with heart trouble. She was of a bright cheerful disposition and none knew her but to love her. she had kept house for her brother broth-er since the death of her parents several years ago. Funeral services were held July 2nd, in the ward chapel, and the speakers speak-ers were, Elders Ezra Wood, Glen Kenney and W. T. Bennett, eulogized her noble life and spoke of the jcys of next world. The floral offerings were beautiful. beauti-ful. Mrs. Pricilla Stevens of Ca'stle Gate is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Badger. Mr. and Mrs. Burt Johnson of Delta,- Mr. and Mrs August Hendricksori of Santaquin and Mrs. Carl Wasden of Scipio, and families, were guests of their mother, Mrs. Sarah Johnson, this week. Bishop A. Y. Stephenson and family were called to Leamington Leaming-ton Sundav, to attend the funeral funer-al of Bishop Ashby's baby. Mrs. Sarah Johnson has gone to Santaquin on an extended visit. Geo.
